It is finished in finished in Shelby Cobra Blue, this particular example also features “original style” equipment like the windshield, headlights, wire wheels and Smiths gauges. The interior is an immaculate condition black leather and features new upgrades including a radio head unit with an extracting screen. The car is powered by a 1960s-date-coded 289ci Ford V8 backed by a five-speed manual transmission with approximately 345hp. -- Rack-and-pinion steering is fitted up front, and a Jaguar-based suspension set in a custom ERA subframe is equipped at the rear. Other equipment beside the rack-and-pinion steering are modified inner tie rods, Spax coil over dampers and a Jaguar-based rear suspension mounted in a custom subframe, four-wheel disc brakes, and Dunlop wire wheels with Michelin tires and a mallory ignition and Elderbrock carburetor. This ERA Cobra replica now shows approximately 2,678 miles and is offered with a tonneau cover, a large assembly book and service manual and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name that describes the car as a 1965 ERA Roadster. --- The main body, doors, trunk lid, hood, and inner panels are composed of hand-laid fiberglass. Features include fresh-air vents, race style vehicle mounted side mirror, front and rear nudge bars with overriders, a Monza-style fuel-filler cap, and dual exhaust outlets with chrome tips.
